Shannon Van Lehn is a Southern Oregon Native and a lover of the outdoors. Growing up, she had the opportunity to play Volleyball, Basketball and Track at her local public schools. Professionally, Shannon has been committed to working in the community. She has a Bachelors in psychology from Southern Oregon University and a Master’s In Public Administration and Nonprofit Management through Capella University as well as certifications in grant writing. Shannon has career full of community support and interaction through the Housing Authority of Jackson County, Rogue Community College, and Center for Domestic Peace. Her varied experience comes through working with the public as a case manager, academic advisor, and program coordinator. Shannon has also experience working for nonprofits doing grant and data research/coordination while volunteering in her community. She has worked with Listo, SOESD, Hispanic Academic Outreach and Jackson County Domestic Violence Awareness Council. She now heads the Development and Program Direction for Beyond The Fence.
